Newly engineered Ugly Stik Howald process featuring Triple Built construction around an internal fiberglass core. Parallel fibres infused with pigmented polyester resin creates a strong yet sensitive rod with better balance that is virtually indestructible. The latest inter-core laminate is an innovative design process that surrounds the graphite shaft fibres in the outer walls with a rigid-wrap structure.

Ugly Stik Gold series are equipped with a full Fuji New Concept Guide. Specially designed with higher supports for tangle free fishing. The guides are finished with a Fuji exclusive black polished stainless steel frame with Aluminium Oxide insert within a deep pressed frame. Utilizing Fuji BLVOG, BSVOG and BNOG guides across all ranges covering lightweight/Heavy duty/Super Heavy-Duty fishing applications.

Fuji reel DPS graphite & Fuji TCS trigger reel seats are incorporated throughout the Ugly Stik Gold range. Finished with comfortable tapered grips with Ugly Stik etched into the EVA and a slick new gloss finish, Ugly Stik Gold never looked so good.
