Mountain Designs Tarp 9.0 Grey

The Tarp 9.0 offers a versatile array of basic shelter options, from entry-level tent to the more technical hiker wanting a lightweight, minimalist cover. Weighing only 0.82kg and measuring 3 metres by 3 metres, it comfortably shelters two people when set up close to the ground as an A-frame. Alternatively, it can be used as a privacy screen for the campsite, or as an awning on day trips thanks to its 9m2 of overhead protection and waterproof nylon fabrication. It has eight reinforced webbing tie-down points that can all hold the tip of a trekking pole – six of these come with a 3-metre tie-down rope and a storage pocket to tuck the rope away when packing up. A stuff sack is also included for storage and travel.
