Fully automatic and easy quick start, the Minelab Gold Monster 1000 Dual 5” & 10”x 6” Coils Metal Detector is an ultra-efficient gold detecting machine. Extra sensitive 45 kHz performance which greatly boosts the sensitivity to gold over a wide range of nugget sizes, while at the same time reduces excess noise and false signals. The Gold Chance Indicator gives you a quick visualisation on the screen of your chance of finding Gold before you start digging. The 2 included waterproof coils cover all ground with 5″ Double-D coil is perfect for detecting in confined spaces the 10″ x 6″ Double-D coil covers more ground and good depth in open spaces.

VLF
VLF (Very Low Frequency) is a conventional single frequency sine wave continuous transmission technology. This is the traditional type of technology used in most basic metal detectors. Single frequency sine wave detectors create an electro-magnetic field, which is transmitted into the ground in a continuous wave. While the basic way that the signal is sent out and received back has not changed, the receive signal processing has improved enormously. This has proven to be a reliable and easy to use technology for finding gold.
